What/And or who caused World War I?

1.Great Britain, france, and Germany
2. More people would take it as a threat for the other countries getting more weapons and attack them so they don't attack the first.
3. Italy, Germany, Austria-hungary, France, Great Britain. this led to the outbreak because once someone would attack someone who was in an alliance the rest of the alliance would fight them back and then you have all these countries that are in alliances with other countries get involved and it makes the problem bigger.

Who and/ Or what caused World war I?

• European leaders- Because they didn't do anything to prevent the war from starting
• Assassination of the successor of Austria- Hungary- Made the austrians mad so they then attacked Germany and started a fight.
• Countries spending more on weapons- Appears as a threat to the other countries so they then attack the other countries who are getting more weapons and make the problem bigger.
• Alliances with certain countries- When one country gets involved the whole alliance of countries gets involved.
